How Long is Medical School?
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree and obtaining entry into a medical program, students will spend four years in medical school. At the end of the four years, students are granted either the MD or DO degree. Specialization requires additional study that may last anywhere between 3-7 years, depending upon the program.
